New Delhi – October 08, 2026 -- Fibocom and India-based IoT ODM Grid-OS are expanding their partnership to cover smart payment and vehicle tracking devices, unveiling new products at IMC 2026 as India's digital payments volume hits 24.51 billion UPI transactions in August 2026 alone, according to NPCI data.
Grid-OS showcases payment soundbox built on Fibocom's LE270 module
The Payment Soundbox uses Fibocom's LE270 LTE Cat 1 bis module to deliver stable 4G connectivity for real-time transaction alerts. The module's low-power design, optimized for connected-mode and DRX standby consumption, enables roughly 7-8 days of battery life on a 2000mAh battery.
Two 4G vehicle trackers debut on Fibocom's LE250 series
Grid-OS is also presenting two 4G Vehicle Trackers powered by Fibocom's LE250 series LTE Cat 1 bis modules. The LE250 combines LTE connectivity with GPS/BeiDou positioning for location tracking and operational data transmission, while its support for OpenCPU and DFOTA simplifies product development and ongoing software maintenance for fleet operators.
Partnership scales from single application to multi-device portfolio
Raghav Gautam, Founder of Grid-OS, said Fibocom's wireless communication portfolio gives the company flexibility to select solutions matched to different IoT product requirements, pairing with Grid-OS's own development-through-manufacturing capabilities. Ronald Chan, Vice President of APAC Sales at Fibocom, said India remains an important IoT market for the company, with the expansion from payment soundbox to vehicle tracker demonstrating how its module portfolio supports local partners across device categories to accelerate commercial deployment at scale.
