New York – September 21, 2026 -- The Appeal of Conscience Foundation will honor Raj Subramaniam, President and CEO of FedEx Corporation, with its Appeal of Conscience Award at the 61st Annual Gala on September 23, 2026, at The Pierre Hotel in New York City.
Foundation cites Subramaniam's leadership in global trade connectivity
Rabbi Arthur Schneier, Founder and President of the Appeal of Conscience Foundation, said Subramaniam is being recognized for his international visionary leadership and commitment to connecting people worldwide through innovation and service. Schneier noted that under Subramaniam's stewardship, FedEx has advanced a culture of social and global responsibility.
Bank of America's Moynihan to chair the gala
Brian Moynihan, Chair and CEO of Bank of America, will chair the event. The Appeal of Conscience Foundation, founded by Rabbi Arthur Schneier in 1965, is an interfaith coalition of business, religious, and diplomatic leaders advocating for peace and religious liberty.
Subramaniam becomes latest corporate leader added to a list spanning six decades
Past recipients of the award include Bernard Arnault, Mary Barra, Michael Bloomberg, Albert Bourla, Robert Iger, Virginia Rometty, Stephen A. Schwarzman, Masayoshi Son, Timotheus Höttges, Dr. Henry Kissinger and Tony Elumelu, among others.
Subramaniam has led FedEx since 2022 after more than 30 years at the company
Subramaniam became the second CEO in FedEx's history in 2022, having previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer. In 2023, he received the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award, India's highest civilian honor for members of the Indian diaspora.
