Avant has been named to The Globe and Mail's Top Growing Companies list for three consecutive years, 2023 through 2025. Between 2020 and 2022, Wright served as CFO of Alpha Cognition Inc., raising more than $20 million during its qualifying transaction; Alpha Cognition later uplisted to Nasdaq under ticker ACOG and became a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company following FDA approval of its lead drug, ZUNVEYL. A former Senior Manager at Deloitte LLP Canada, Wright holds a B.A. (Hons.) in Environmental Economics from Brock University.
