Miter Raises $40M Series B to Fix Construction's 'Frankenstack' Tech

San Francisco – September 30, 2026 -- Miter, an AI-powered workforce management platform for the construction industry, has raised a $40 million Series B round led by Battery Ventures, pushing its total capital raised to $78 million. Existing backers Bessemer Venture Partners and Coatue also participated in the round.
Construction sector defies broader U.S. job slowdown
The construction industry added 22,000 jobs in August even as overall U.S. employment declined, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. AI data center construction drove much of that growth, a trend both the sector and Miter expect to continue.
