Kinetics to Convert LNG Carrier Into 143,000 cbm FSRU by 2028
London – September 30, 2026 -- Kinetics has acquired the LNG carrier Arctic Voyager for conversion into a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) named LNGT Akdeniz, expanding its floating LNG infrastructure fleet.
Converted vessel will deliver 650 mmscfd regasification capacity
The multi-spec FSRU will have storage capacity of approximately 143,000 cbm and a regasification flow rate of 650 mmscfd, built on Moss-type cargo tanks with an expected economic life of 20 years. Delivery of the converted unit is scheduled for the third quarter of 2028.
