Kuala Lumpur – October 29, 2026 -- Integris Composites signed a Memorandum of Understanding with CTruk Boats at Defence Services Asia (DSA) 2026 to develop lightweight composite armour for high-performance marine platforms, including a next-generation Surface Effect Ship (SES) Fast Patrol Craft.

Armour and hull expertise combine in the CTruk agreement

The MOU pairs Integris' advanced armour systems with CTruk's composite vessel design capabilities. The partners target improved survivability, reduced weight and better operational performance for naval and security forces operating in demanding maritime environments.

EMEA – October 27, 2026 -- Integris Composites and Arquus have launched joint development and testing of a full-composite armoured vehicle door, designed to cut weight against traditional metallic solutions while meeting ballistic and blast requirements.

Composite door replaces steel structure plus add-on armour

The programme will compare the ballistic performance, durability, survivability and mass-saving potential of the composite architecture with conventional armoured doors. Those doors combine steel structures with add-on armour. Integris says the lower weight improves vehicle mobility and reduces maintenance requirements.

The door is designed to address lateral mine blast and IED fragmentation threats.

Herning – October 27, 2026 -- Integris Composites presented lightweight composite vehicle armour at DALO Industry Days 2026, Scandinavia's largest defence exhibition, which drew more than 21,000 attendees and 1,244 exhibitors from 28 countries.

Integris shows composite armour at outdoor stand in Herning

The exhibition ran 19-20 August at MCH Messecenter Herning. Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (FMI) case officers, operational units and international delegations attended to discuss future defence requirements.

Integris used its outdoor stand to demonstrate armour intended to protect military vehicles and occupants against modern ballistic threats while cutting the weight of traditional protection systems. The company says lower weight supports vehicle mobility, payload capacity and operational performance. It also presented solutions for aerospace, personal protection and naval applications.
