Cytrellis Expands ellacor Skin-Tightening Device Into South Korea

Woburn, Mass. – – September 29, 2026 -- Cytrellis Biosystems, Inc. has signed a commercialization agreement with KoreAx Co. Ltd. to launch its ellacor skin-removal device in South Korea, marking the company's second international market entry of 2026 after Australia.
South Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety cleared ellacor in 2025
Ellacor is described as the first and only FDA-cleared, minimally invasive, in-office procedure that removes sagging skin without surgery or thermal energy. The device uses Micro-Coring technology and is approved for adults aged 22 and older with Fitzpatrick skin types I-IV.
