Corel Adds Text-to-Vector AI to CorelDRAW in September Update

New York – October 08, 2026 -- Corel has rolled out a Text-to-vector AI workflow in its September 2026 Update to CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2026, letting designers convert written prompts into editable, scalable vector graphics directly inside the application. The update was reviewed by Consumer365, which flagged the feature as the centerpiece of the release alongside a reworked PowerTRACE engine and expanded CorelDRAW Web tools.

Text-to-vector tool turns prompts into editable vector objects

The new capability sits inside CorelDRAW's AI Generate docker, letting users start either from a text prompt or existing artwork. Output arrives as editable vector objects with manual node control, rather than locked raster images, and supports styles including Line art, Comic book, and Icon. Color handling follows the active document's color mode, aligning generated assets with existing production files.
