Cloverleaf Joins Anthropic, Google, Microsoft in Michigan Data Center Pledge

Houston – September 11, 2026 -- Cloverleaf Infrastructure LLC has signed the Michigan Affordability and Responsible Growth Pledge, joining Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, OpenAI and Oracle as signatories to the state's data center development framework.
Michigan Pledge Requires Developers to Secure New Energy Resources
The pledge, launched by Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, obligates signatories to ensure Michiganders do not face higher energy costs, to secure new energy resources to meet demand, and to fund necessary energy infrastructure upgrades. Signatories must also comply with environmental laws, prioritize local hiring and workforce development, and operate with transparency in project development and community investment.
