Wood Dale, Illinois – September 28, 2026 -- AAR CORP. (NYSE: AIR) has agreed to acquire a 65% controlling interest in MRO Holdings at an implied enterprise value of $4.0 billion, creating what the company calls the largest heavy maintenance MRO operation in the world, servicing nearly 3,000 aircraft annually.

AAR values MRO Holdings at 10.7x forecasted 2026 EBITDA

The valuation represents 10.7 times MRO Holdings' forecasted full calendar year 2026 adjusted EBITDA, factoring in $75 million of anticipated run-rate cost synergies and net of transaction-related tax benefits with an expected present value of approximately $150 million.

The number of fund and asset managers based at ADGM rose to 190, up from 154 in H1 2025, with 11 new managers added in the second quarter alone -- the sharpest quarterly increase on record for the centre. Funds domiciled at ADGM grew to 276, a 32% increase from 209 a year earlier. Collectively, asset managers that set up at ADGM during the period oversee more than $2.1 trillion in assets globally.

The number of fund and asset managers based at ADGM reached 190, up 23% from 154 in H1 2025, with 11 new managers added in the second quarter alone -- the largest quarterly increase on record. Funds managed from ADGM rose 32% to 276, from 209 a year earlier. Asset managers that established operations at ADGM in H1 2026 collectively administer global assets exceeding $2.1 trillion.
