SINGAPORE – November 01, 2026 -- Creator videos linking TikTok users to Codashop have drawn 1 billion views since the mid-June 2026 launch of a partnership between digital content distributor Coda and TikTok Gaming, with click-through averaging above 5% and about 5% of clicks converting to purchases.
Direct purchase links go live in five Southeast Asian markets
TikTok users in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines can now link directly to Codashop to buy game top-ups, gift cards and other digital goods. Creators can feature Codashop-listed content in livestreams and short-form videos. Publishers gain a route to consumers at the point where they discover games.
Most buyers are new to Codashop
The majority of purchasers arriving through the TikTok route are new to Codashop. Coda presents this as evidence that creator-led commerce can bring publishers new customers as well as transactions. The company did not disclose revenue or transaction volumes from the TikTok channel.
"Commerce is increasingly happening wherever discovery happens," said Zac Liew, Chief Commercial Officer, B2B, at Coda. He said the channel lets publishers reach consumers earlier in the purchase journey and turn engagement into sales.
Codashop's base: 6 million monthly transactions
Codashop records more than 6 million transactions and 13 million site visits every month. It launched in Indonesia in 2014 and has since expanded across the region and beyond. Coda, founded in Jakarta in 2011, counts Activision, Electronic Arts and Riot Games among its publisher clients.
Coda says the TikTok tie-up extends its digital content distribution beyond traditional storefronts as social platforms and creators play a larger role in purchase decisions. The company plans to explore further commerce and distribution models with publishers and platform partners.
