Indianapolis – – September 22, 2026 -- CMIT Solutions marked its 30th year in business at CMIT Connect Live! 2026, a multi-day convention in Indianapolis that brought together franchise owners, technicians and technology partners from its national managed IT services and cybersecurity network.
Dayal Bhagat wins top franchise honor for growth across three regions
The Franchise of the Year Award, the event's highest honor, went to Dayal Bhagat, who operates CMIT Solutions locations serving Roanoke, Virginia, and North Charlotte and Statesville, North Carolina. The award recognized sustained business growth, service delivery and alignment with CMIT's core values. Other nominees included Matt McCracken, Mike Minkler, Tom Shirey, Cheryl Nelan and Evan Stein, and Marty and Leslie Wood.
Technology partners hand out separate performance awards
Kaseya named Matt McCracken its Partner of the Year and awarded Elina and Scott Greenstein its Breakout Franchise of the Year. Pax8 recognized Milton Perez, Greg Humble and Mark Boedecker as Partner of the Year. ConnectWise named Scott Graflund its Franchise of the Year, with the award accepted on his behalf by Pam Elliott, and presented its Rising Star Award to Adam Lopez.
Awards banquet at Union Station doubles as milestone celebration
The Awards Banquet, held at Indianapolis Union Station, combined recognition for franchise and support teams with a Million Dollar Dinner honoring franchise owners whose businesses have surpassed $1 million in annual revenue. A Welcome Party at the NCAA Hall of Champions greeted franchise owners who joined CMIT after October 2025. Key technology sponsors for the event included Kaseya, ConnectWise, Pax8, ThreatCaptain and Cytracom, alongside an onsite presence from the Global Technology Industry Association.
CEO frames 30-year milestone around franchise community growth
A video featuring CMIT founder Georgia Jones reflected on the relationships that shaped the organization's history. "Celebrating 30 years is a tremendous milestone for CMIT Solutions, but what I'm most proud of is the community we've built and the franchise owners who continue to move this organization forward," said Roger Lewis, CEO of CMIT Solutions.
