India – October 12, 2026 -- Carbon-markets data provider Clever will release CleverIQ, a natural language query tool, in early access on May 1, adding a partnership with ICR and highlighting client Compliance Kart's new ENVR marketplace.
CleverIQ replaces manual filters with plain-language queries in the Buyers Module
Users can ask complex questions and receive structured answers without building filters or manually cross-comparing data. Clever says the tool delivers accurate results with no hallucinations and no black boxes. Existing Buyers Module users will be upgraded automatically. The company describes CleverIQ as an evolving product that it will keep refining over the coming months, and it is asking users for feedback.
Compliance Kart launches ENVR to link verified projects with buyers
The ENVR marketplace connects verified carbon credit and I-REC generating projects with interested buyers. Clever says Compliance Kart uses its platform to bring more structure, visibility and comparability to the data behind its projects.
Compliance Kart is also involved in a regenerative agriculture carbon programme in Uttar Pradesh. The programme spans approximately 500,000 hectares and has nearly ₹100 crore in committed investment. Partners include the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee and the Uttar Pradesh Department of Agriculture.
The programme has three goals:
- Enable farmers to access and benefit from carbon markets
- Promote climate-resilient, regenerative farming practices
- Create additional income streams for agricultural communities
ICR partnership adds an ISO-aligned registry to Clever's data coverage
ICR brings an ISO-aligned program and high-integrity credits to market, and it supports more efficient project funding. Clever is offering ICR data through its free Open Access tier.
