Tel Aviv – September 11, 2026 -- Cato Networks, a converged network and security cloud provider valued at $1 billion or more, has joined the World Economic Forum's Innovator Communities as part of its Unicorn cohort, gaining direct access to policy-shaping discussions on cyber resilience and AI security.

Cato enters WEF's Centre for Cybersecurity to address agentic AI risk

The company will engage with the Forum's Centre for Cybersecurity, an independent public-private platform, contributing to flagship initiatives including Cyber Resilience in Industries, the Partnership against Cybercrime, and Cyber Frontiers: AI and Cyber. The move places Cato alongside business, government, civil society, and academic leaders working on systemic cybersecurity challenges tied to accelerating enterprise AI adoption.

Kramer says no single company can secure the frontier AI era alone

"AI is moving faster than any technology shift I've seen before, and while it offers tremendous potential, it also presents significant risk," said Shlomo Kramer, co-founder and CEO of Cato Networks. He said the Forum is one of the few venues where business, technology, and government leaders can jointly address AI-driven security threats.

WEF cybersecurity chief cites Cato's enterprise-scale threat visibility

Akshay Joshi, head of the Centre for Cybersecurity at the World Economic Forum, said Cato's experience securing global enterprises at scale will inform Forum discussions on current and future cyber threats. The Innovator Communities, comprising Technology Pioneers, Global Innovators, and Unicorns, select high-growth start-ups to help define global agendas on critical technology issues.

Engagement extends to Davos 2027 Annual Meeting

Cato's participation will run through the Forum's global meetings, including the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2027 in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, where global leaders convene on cross-sector cooperation.
