SHERIDAN, WYOMING -- August 28, 2026 -- Apricus Solar AG moved its group headquarters within Dortmund, Germany, to Westfalendamm 223, ending nearly five years at its previous location. The relocation consolidates more than half of the group's over ten subsidiaries and holdings under one roof, the company announced Aug. 28. Connected Dots Holding oversees the restructured group, which now includes two newly integrated units, Wertkraft GmbH & Co. KG and RE Projektbau GmbH.
Wertkraft Becomes Group's Renewable Project Marketing Arm
Wertkraft GmbH & Co. KG, previously known as B&C Solartechnik and active in the market for roughly five years, now serves as the group's platform for marketing renewable energy projects and solutions. The unit will open new market access points across the group and support affiliated companies in selling their projects, Apricus said.
RE Projektbau Executes Construction From The New Site
RE Projektbau GmbH, founded in 2023, handles technical construction work for the group and will run projects out of the new Westfalendamm address. Combined with Wertkraft, the two units cover the full chain from project development through construction to marketing and operations management. The group cited its proximity to the construction associations of North Rhine-Westphalia as a factor in deepening ties with the building industry, where energy and infrastructure projects increasingly overlap. Board member Oliver vom Lehn said bundling the companies shortens decision paths and strengthens technical exchange, allowing the group to deliver projects more efficiently from a single source.

Residential Solar Splits Off As Separate Craft Business
Apricus spun off its classic residential solar operations into an independent craft business, separating retail customer work from the group's higher-growth segments. The restructured group now focuses on large-scale photovoltaic projects, battery storage systems (BESS), operations management and project development. Battery storage has posted double-digit growth rates for years and ranks among the most dynamic segments of the global energy market, according to the company.
Batteries are in; residential is out.
Executive Cites Years Of Pressure On Solar Business Models
Vom Lehn said the solar industry has changed fundamentally in recent years, with many business models under significant pressure, prompting the group to restructure early. He described the new headquarters as the basis for the group's next growth phase, following earlier changes in company leadership. The move follows changes already made to the group's executive structure, Apricus said.
