Apollo-Backed Forge to Acquire Becker's Healthcare from Pamlico Capital

New York – September 22, 2026 -- Forge, the B2B events and media company backed by Apollo, has agreed to acquire Becker's Healthcare from Pamlico Capital, adding a platform that reaches more than 1.5 million healthcare leaders and executives.

Becker's Healthcare brings a 15,000-attendee live events network to the deal

Chicago-based Becker's Healthcare hosts more than 15,000 attendees annually across its live events, serving hospital, health system and healthcare executives through digital products, executive communities and conferences.

Forge combines Becker's with Fierce Healthcare and Life Sciences to scale its healthcare footprint

The acquisition pairs Becker's with Forge's existing Fierce Healthcare and Life Sciences portfolio, creating what the company describes as a 365-day omnichannel platform spanning biotech, pharma, hospitals, health systems and payers. The combined entity will operate more than 35 live events alongside media, digital products, newsletters, podcasts and executive communities.

Forge was formed through Apollo's July 2026 acquisition merging Emerald and Questex

Forge emerged as a B2B events and media company following Apollo's July 2026 acquisition that combined Emerald and Questex. The Becker's transaction was advised by JEGI LEONIS, the M&A advisory firm working with Forge on the deal.

Forge stated the acquisition reflects a strategy to build scale in markets with strong secular tailwinds, where growing industries increase demand for trusted communities, content and connections.
