Charlotte, N.C. – September 11, 2026 -- Kate Burke, chief executive officer of Allspring Global Investments, has been named to Pensions & Investments' 2026 Influential Women in Institutional Investing list, while portfolio specialist Hannah Rosencrantz was recognized as a 2026 P&I Rising Star. Allspring manages more than $642 billion in assets under advisement as of June 30, 2026, across 18 global offices with over 360 investment professionals.

Burke's leadership drives Allspring's transformation as an independent asset manager

Burke became CEO in July 2025 after joining Allspring in 2023 as president, and now sits on the company's Board of Directors. Under her tenure, the firm has focused on strengthening its investment platform, expanding client access across vehicles and channels, and applying data, technology and AI to improve client experience. Joe Sullivan, executive chair of Allspring's Board, credited Burke with elevating the firm's platform and culture.

Burke brings more than two decades of asset management experience, including prior roles as chief operating officer and chief financial officer at AllianceBernstein. She holds an economics degree from the College of the Holy Cross and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.

Rosencrantz recognized for strengthening fixed income client service

Rosencrantz, a portfolio specialist on Allspring's Global Fixed Income team, was cited for her proactive, client-focused approach and for delivering accurate data that supports the team's investment decision-making. Her work is credited with freeing investment professionals to focus more time on asset management while improving service quality for clients and partners. She earned a marketing degree from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management.

"I am honored to be included among this group of accomplished women who are helping move the institutional investing industry forward," Burke said, adding that Rosencrantz's recognition reflects "the best of Allspring's next generation of talent."
