CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM Joins CISA's Funded SIEMaaS Stack

United States – October 12, 2026 -- CrowdStrike's Falcon Next-Gen SIEM has been added to CISA's SIEM-as-a-service (SIEMaaS) technology stack, giving eligible federal agencies a path to modernize security operations without using their own program funding.

DEFEND F mechanism acquires SKUs on behalf of agencies

The offering runs through the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Dynamic and Evolving Federal Enterprise Network Defense (DEFEND) Group F shared service. It is delivered via CGI Federal's CDM DEFEND F SIEMaaS service. Eligibility is limited to federal civilian agencies that participate in CISA's Persistent Access Capability program and already use CrowdStrike endpoint detection and response (EDR) modules.

CISA has described SIEMaaS as "the Rosetta Stone" for visibility.

CrowdStrike Adds Third-Party Mapping and AI Remediation to Falcon Cloud

CrowdStrike Adds Third-Party Mapping and AI Remediation to Falcon Cloud

Global – October 12, 2026 -- CrowdStrike is adding third-party application insights and AI-enhanced remediation to Falcon Cloud Security, so security teams can identify which cloud-native applications are exposed when an external provider is compromised.

Application code analysis maps vendor dependencies and API operations

Cloud-native applications increasingly rely on third-party and SaaS services for critical business functions. Without dependency visibility, assessing exposure after a provider compromise can mean manually searching code and application inventories.

CrowdStrike Launches Falcon Data Security for SaaS for Microsoft 365

Global – – October 12, 2026 -- CrowdStrike has made Falcon Data Security for SaaS generally available, starting with Microsoft 365 coverage across SharePoint, OneDrive and Copilot, with plans to add more SaaS applications over time.

Platform classifies PII, PHI and payment card data as files change

The product continuously discovers and classifies sensitive data as files are accessed, modified and shared. Out-of-the-box patterns cover personally identifiable information, protected health information and payment card data, and custom patterns can be added for business-specific content. A classification engine shared across SaaS, endpoint and cloud is meant to close policy gaps between disconnected tools.

CrowdStrike Bypasses LLM Safety Classifier in 9 of 10 Attack Categories

Global – October 12, 2026 -- CrowdStrike's Cyber Superintelligence Lab circumvented the most advanced publicly deployed LLM content safety classifier in 9 of 10 offensive security categories by splitting harmful tasks into individually benign subtasks. The same classifier stopped every direct attack: about 515 bypass techniques produced a 0% direct bypass rate.

Direct attacks fail, but per-request evaluation leaves a structural gap

The tested classifier guards models including Claude Opus 5.5 and Fable 5, referred to in the research as Frontier Model A. The techniques tried against it included encodings, multi-turn escalation, many-shot tactics, tokenizer exploits, Unicode tricks and 24 novel approaches drawn from cognitive science.

Global – October 12, 2026 -- CrowdStrike has been named a Leader in the 2026 IDC MarketScape for Worldwide Modern Endpoint Security for Enterprises Vendor Assessment, and is using the recognition to push its Falcon platform into protection for AI agents on the endpoint.

CrowdStrike frames AI agents as a new source of endpoint activity

The company says humans, applications, and AI agents now work side by side on endpoints, executing commands, accessing data, using identities, working through browsers, invoking tools, and introducing software. CrowdStrike calls this the "agentic endpoint," where humans, AI agents, and AI-enabled adversaries converge.

CrowdStrike Traces South Korean Bank Breaches to ARTEX, LLM Toolkit

South Korea – October 12, 2026 -- CrowdStrike Intelligence has linked a late-September to early-October 2026 campaign against South Korean financial organizations, which resulted in exfiltrated data, to attacker servers that exposed Claude Code session histories, ARTEX configuration files and Claude memory files.

The actor used ARTEX, a recently released open-source agentic penetration testing tool developed in China, alongside large language models (LLMs). CrowdStrike assesses with moderate confidence that the actor is a Chinese speaker and financially motivated, based on the tool choice and Chinese-language prompts. The activity has not been attributed to a named adversary.

CrowdStrike Joins Anthropic's Critical Infrastructure Defense Program

Global – October 12, 2026 -- CrowdStrike has joined Anthropic's Critical Infrastructure Defense Program, gaining access to Anthropic's technical guidance and frontier cybersecurity research to defend energy, water, manufacturing and transportation networks against AI-accelerated attacks.

Program links security vendors and Anthropic's research

The program brings cybersecurity and critical infrastructure leaders together with Anthropic's technical guidance and frontier research. It also serves as a forum for sharing defensive practices and informing research. CrowdStrike says adversaries are using AI to operate faster and at greater scale, which shortens defenders' response windows.

Shared Signals Framework Brings Near Real-Time Access to Zero Trust

Shared Signals Framework Brings Near Real-Time Access to Zero Trust

Global – October 12, 2026 -- Re-validating an access token at every request would multiply the load on an identity provider (IdP) by roughly 1,000x, assuming a 24-hour token is used 1,000 times. That figure is why the OpenID Foundation's Shared Signals Framework (SSF) is gaining traction as the mechanism for keeping Zero Trust access decisions current.

Short-lived tokens cut IdP load to about 24x but degrade user experience

Shortening a token's life from 24 hours to one hour raises IdP burden by only about 24x. Users, however, face repeated redirects to the IdP and back, which degrades the experience. Neither approach lets an organization instantly revoke access after a termination or rogue agent activity, or react when device or task conditions change while a token is still valid.

Blomberg – October 12, 2026 -- Phoenix Contact will make all of its products available in a CRA-ready format by the regulatory deadline, the company said ahead of SPS 2026, which runs November 24-26, 2026, in Nuremberg, Germany.

The company will exhibit in Hall 9, Booth 310, with a focus on industrial AI, PLCnext Technology, cybersecurity, and field and control cabinet automation.

Conveyor demo runs on the full control cabinet and field portfolio

The booth's central exhibit is a conveyor belt application that moves water bottles on workpiece carriers so they can be filled with water immediately. The line is automated with Phoenix Contact's entire product portfolio for control cabinet and field installations. At field level, new products include power supplies, device protection, and motor starters with IO-Link interfaces.
