1911 Gold Advances True North Mine Toward 2027 Decision

Manitoba – September 18, 2026 -- 1911 Gold Corporation has cleared the path for test mining this fall at its True North Gold Project after completing dewatering of A-Shaft and Level 26, positioning the company for a planned 2027 production decision.

SCR Mining & Tunnelling Mobilizes Crews to Accelerate Underground Development

1911 Gold awarded an underground development contract to SCR Mining & Tunnelling, which has mobilized crews and specialized mobile equipment to lead mining, mechanical and electrical activities at the site. Additional haulage trucks and utility vehicles are scheduled to arrive through September and October to support the ramp-up.

Ore Pass Chute Recommissioning Opens Route for Fall Shaft Skipping

The Level 16-to-26 ore pass chute became operational in late August, a step Chief Operating Officer Éric Vinet said clears the pathway to improve development performance and commence skipping from underground to surface this fall. The loading pocket rehabilitation is progressing with new structural steel on conveyors, pulleys, bearings, and electrical controls, and is expected to be fully recommissioned this season.

Ventilation Upgrade Eliminates Four Booster Fans, Frees 300 HP for Drilling

Rigid hard-duct ventilation installed on Level 16 will eliminate four legacy booster fans, cutting electricity requirements and freeing approximately 300 horsepower of supplemental power to support an additional diamond drill on that level. The upgrade is also expected to reduce clearance time between blasting cycles, according to Vinet.

New Crusher Foundation Poured Ahead of Westpro Equipment Delivery

Concrete foundations for the new surface primary crusher building have been completed after removal of the legacy jaw crusher and apron feeder structures. Delivery of Westpro's new crushing circuit components remains on track for early in the fourth quarter, with mid-November targeted for arrival.

Mill and Lab Infrastructure Reach Operational Status

The Primary Ball Mill and a new freshwater system are commissioned and operational, while the freshwater pumphouse refurbishment nears completion. The on-site assay laboratory is operational after completing initial furnace fusion test-work, and is ready to process grade control, geology, and exploration samples. The flotation circuit, regrind mill, and leach tanks are undergoing significant refurbishment.

Fleet Additions and Level 26 Access Expand Underground Capacity

New mobile equipment includes two Epiroc ST2G scoops, a refurbished Sandvik LH-203 scoop, a scissor deck, a dedicated 1-boom jumbo for Level 16 development, and a 980 Loader for surface material handling. Level 26 is now accessible up to D-Shaft and the up-ramps within the 710-711 Zone, with rock breaker and Grizzly repairs underway ahead of new equipment installation expected in late September.

Hinge Portal Dewatering Targets Main Ramp Bottom by January 2027

Dewatering in the Hinge portal was paused for several weeks to accommodate electrical upgrades to power distribution and piping systems but is set to continue toward the bottom of the main ramp, expected to be reached in January 2027. Rigid hard-duct ventilation in the L-13 area of the Hinge ramp has already improved access for exploration targeting the San Antonio Southeast and Shore near-mine targets.

Company Flags No Production Decision Has Been Made

1911 Gold has not made a production decision on True North and cautions that any future decision made without a feasibility study demonstrating economic and technical viability carries increased risk. The company said it will provide further operational updates as underground activities progress toward major milestones.
