Shanghai – November 03, 2026 -- YR Fitness, a China-based manufacturer that says 100% of its strength machines are designed, developed and built in-house, will present new equipment at FIBO 2027 in Cologne, Germany, on April 8-11 at Booth 9E67.
The new machines have completed key internal testing, according to the company.
YR Fitness holds more than 200 patents after nearly three decades of in-house development
The company, founded in 1997, handles design, R&D, testing and manufacturing of its strength equipment itself. Its engineering focuses on movement paths, resistance, ergonomics and target-muscle engagement.
Specific features include specially designed cams that maintain resistance through more of the movement, and independent converging and diverging paths based on natural body motion.
Founder George Yang tests each machine through a repeated train-and-adjust cycle
Yang, YR's chief designer, trains on the equipment he helps design. The process runs through design, build, train, adjust and train again, and a machine that does not look, feel or move as expected goes back for refinement. Only products that satisfy the team both visually and in training move forward.
"We start by asking how the body should move," Yang said.
YR targets gym owners and distributors at FIBO and three other trade shows
The company invites gym owners, distributors, trainers and athletes to try the machines at its booth and speak with the product team.
Beyond FIBO, which YR cites for global fitness brands and product innovation, it meets customers at the HFA Show in the United States (gym owners and club operators), the China Sport Show in China (fitness equipment and manufacturing) and the Dubai Muscle Show in the UAE (the Middle East fitness market).
YR offers commercial gym equipment across strength, cardio and accessories, and says it feeds customer feedback from these events back into product development.
