YMX Logistics Named to FreightWaves 2027 FreightTech 100

Henderson – October 12, 2026 -- YMX Logistics has been named to FreightWaves' 2027 FreightTech 100, an annual list of innovative and influential supply chain companies, as yard technology draws more industry attention.

Yard category grows from one honoree in 2020 to seven in 2027

The Yard, Dock & Warehouse category is now one of the list's fastest-growing segments. Five of its seven honorees are first-time selections this year, reflecting demand for yard management, dock scheduling, gate automation and safety solutions.

YMX OS combines four capabilities with 13 AI-native touchpoints

YMX Logistics built its recognized offering, the Autonomous Yard Operating System (YMX OS), as an alternative to point solutions that address a single yard function. The platform combines yard management, computer vision-powered data capture, digital twin capabilities and a standardized operating model. It automates operations and supports continuous improvement across enterprise networks.

YMX OS has 13 AI-native touchpoints running from gate to dock. The company says the platform targets yard performance, labor, equipment, safety and sustainability.

CEO Yearling says visibility alone does not improve outcomes

CEO Matt Yearling said enterprise shippers increasingly see yards as an opportunity within their logistics networks. He argued that visibility technology needs people, equipment and operational expertise behind it to improve results. According to Yearling, blending AI with service and safety yields gains beyond optimized yard operations, including in transportation and warehousing.

The company frames the challenge as integration rather than a shortage of tools: combining technologies so they consistently improve service, control operating costs and create safer working environments.
