Whatfix Fast Track covers DAP contract overlap to ease migration

Global – October 23, 2026 -- Whatfix is offering customers software access for the remainder of their incumbent digital adoption platform (DAP) contract under its Fast Track migration program, removing dual billing for enterprises that switch vendors.

Whatfix specialists rebuild existing DAP content during migration

Fast Track specialists manage the migration and rebuild of a customer's existing flows, assets and experiences, so internal teams do not recreate them from scratch. Customer teams still handle prioritization, reviews and validation.

A parallel-run approach keeps critical guidance live in production while the new program is built on Whatfix behind the scenes. End users stay supported throughout the transition.

Five-phase framework runs from KPI alignment to coordinated go-live

The framework has five phases: objective and KPI alignment, content audit and analysis, solution redesign, build and validation, and coordinated go-live. The content audit sorts assets into migrate, improve, consolidate or retire, which cuts what Whatfix calls digital debt.

Redesign uses Whatfix capabilities such as Smart Context and enterprise-ready targeting. Validation covers testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and review with subject-matter experts and application owners. At go-live, Whatfix coordinates with the customer's IT team to disable legacy scripts and activate Whatfix, then measures results against the success criteria set in phase one.

Extra Space Storage moved hundreds of content pieces in just over a month

Kate Stapleton, Senior Product Manager at Extra Space Storage, said the company migrated hundreds of content pieces in just over a month, which accelerated adoption. AutoAlert's VP of Operations, Maggie Huffman, cited role-based governance of guidance and a simplified curriculum amid constant releases.

Platform covers web, desktop, mobile and Citrix environments

Whatfix says the platform supports cross-application workflows across web, desktop, mobile and Citrix, and runs alongside SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft and custom applications. Mirror provides pre-production simulation training. Governed releases, approvals, testing, rollback, localization and environment separation are part of content lifecycle management.

Timelines are not fixed. The Fast Track team scopes each plan around the current DAP vendor, contract dates, application list, content volume, user base and stakeholder availability, and recommends involving it early in vendor evaluation.
