Western Products Auctions America 250 Plow for Camp Hometown Heroes

MILWAUKEE – November 06, 2026 -- Western Products is auctioning a one-of-a-kind America 250-themed pusher plow, with 100% of proceeds going to Camp Hometown Heroes. The manufacturer's earlier military auctions have already raised more than $110,000 for the charity.

Bidding on the custom-wrapped PILE DRIVER plow closes at 11:11 a.m. CST on Nov. 11

The auction runs from Nov. 1 through Nov. 11, 2026, on the official WESTERN Facebook page, where participants can track active bids and place offers. The lot is a WESTERN PILE DRIVER pusher plow, custom-wrapped to commemorate 250 years of the United States. The company announced it earlier this year at the Snow & Ice Symposium.

Bidding closes at 11:11 a.m. Central Standard Time on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2026. The timing references the end of major hostilities in World War I at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918. That date became Armistice Day and was later renamed Veterans Day.

Ninth annual military auction has raised more than $110,000 for children of service members

This is the ninth year WESTERN has hosted a military auction for Camp Hometown Heroes. The national organization runs support programs, recreational camps and grief-processing programs for children who have lost a parent serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Jeff Kopp, WESTERN Customer Connect administrator, said the sale gives contractors and snow-fighters "a rare opportunity to own a piece of history" while directly supporting military families. Western Products is part of Douglas Dynamics.

Camp Hometown Heroes also accepts direct donations separate from the auction.
