Global – October 22, 2026 -- Welo Global's Opal AI translation and quality platform now runs natively inside Crowdin's localization management platform, giving Crowdin users AI translation and quality evaluation without leaving their existing environment.
Crowdin maintains the Opal integration in its Crowdin Store
The integration connects directly to Opal and is available through the Crowdin Store. Crowdin maintains it. Organizations can add Opal to established workflows without adopting a separate platform.
The partnership pairs Crowdin's developer-first, continuous localization workflows with Opal's AI translation technology. Customers can automate translation workflows, evaluate translation quality and scale multilingual operations.
Opal combines machine translation, large language models and quality benchmarking
Opal draws on machine translation, large language models, intelligent automation and quality evaluation to support multilingual content production at scale. Its data science-backed approach to quality and benchmarking lets organizations assess performance and make informed decisions about translation workflows.
The integration targets teams running continuous localization across software, applications, websites, documentation and other frequently updated content. They keep their Crowdin workflows and avoid moving between separate systems.
Welo Global frames the deal as part of an open-ecosystem strategy
Darin Goble, VP, AI Platform at Welo Global, said enterprises need the flexibility to combine technologies and services without being tied to a single platform or provider. The partnership reflects Welo Global's broader strategy of expanding access to its technology through enterprise platforms and technology partners.
Crowdin CEO Anton Yurkiv said that "AI is now part of almost every localization workflow," and that the open question is whether teams can trust its output at scale. He described Opal as one more way for Crowdin users to get there.
