WaitWell Launches Staff Booking Links, Rebuilds Staff Scheduling

United States – October 27, 2026 -- WaitWell released staff booking links that let each staff member create up to 10 links per location, alongside a rebuilt staff scheduling view, and announced a larger release for November.

Staff booking links open a booking site with the person preselected

Each link opens the booking site with that staff member already selected, photo and bio included. Links can be fixed to one service or leave the choice to the customer, and they can carry an expiry date. Staff can turn off or delete a link at any time, and the list shows how many times each link has been opened and offers a QR code.

Staff can also store their own meeting link in a profile section under account preferences. That link is used when they are assigned to a ticket. If none is on file, WaitWell creates one.

Staff scheduling now opens on a full-week view with drag-and-drop editing

The new default view shows one row per person with the full week across the top and hours and daily totals built in. Users can click an empty day to add a shift, drag shifts between days or people, and copy and paste a day or a week. Shifts are colour-coded by position, and weeks load faster.

Each shift now belongs to one person, so covering a busy day requires one shift per person. Multi-person shifts already built keep working as before.

On publishing, WaitWell flags booked appointments left without staff so they can be reassigned or cancelled in one step. Scheduled breaks now block online booking. Staff can sync shifts to Google, Apple, or Outlook calendars, with time-off requests shown alongside. WaitWell is offering a free 3-month test run of staff scheduling through Client Success Managers.

Reporting and booking controls expand across the platform

The customers report gets its own left-menu entry, with notes and tags on every record. A new report lists bounced emails and failed texts with a link to the ticket. Appointment search now defaults to the last three months, and customers can be searched at one location or all of them.

On the booking side, operators can cap simultaneous appointments or set maximums for specific hours, give each person in a party a separate service type, and require a staff member on every bookable slot. On-hold tickets can be sent to the bottom of the queue.

WaitWell holds Leader status in six G2 Fall Report categories

G2's Fall Report ranks WaitWell as Leader in Enterprise, Online Appointment Scheduling, Patient Intake, Patient Scheduling, Queue Management, and Visitor Management. It is Momentum Leader in four of those: Online Appointment Scheduling, Patient Intake, Queue Management, and Visitor Management. It also won Easiest Admin for Patient Intake, Best Estimated ROI for Enterprise Visitor Management, and Fastest Implementation for Enterprise Online Appointment Scheduling.

WaitWell is offering customers a $50 gift card for leaving a G2 review.

Nevada DMV cut rural wait times from 78 to 18 minutes

Nevada's DMV won AAMVA's Region 4 Customer Convenience Award after moving its rural offices to appointment-only service. The average wait fell from 78 minutes to 18, a 77% reduction, with the same buildings, staff, and customers. The rollout began as a two-office pilot in early 2024 and reached every rural office by December.

WaitWell will appear at the SD Counties Annual Convention in Pierre and at IVECCS in Savannah from September 14 to 17. The November release is described by the company as the biggest it has built, aimed at closing the gap between WaitWell and customers' other systems.
