Veteran Colonel Launches AI-Era Leadership Training Program

Louisville, Ky. -- September 9, 2026 -- Soar Higher Leadership and Business Coaching has launched the SOAR HIGHER LEADERSHIP program, a training course designed to address leadership skills gaps created by rapid AI adoption in the workplace. The company is enrolling students for September and October cohorts.

Retired Air Force Colonel builds curriculum from combat and corporate command experience

Jason Ballard, CEO and Founder of Soar Higher Coaching, developed the program after retiring as a Colonel from the U.S. Air Force following more than 30 years of military combat and leadership service. Ballard subsequently led 12 companies that received industry awards, drawing on that operational track record rather than academic theory to structure the course content.

Program targets three tiers of business leadership simultaneously

The curriculum is built for corporate executives, mid- to senior-level managers, and new entrepreneurs, combining what Ballard calls traditional leadership principles with tactics specific to managing teams in AI-driven digital environments. Ballard said every element of the course is designed for immediate application, with skills intended to compound on a weekly basis throughout the program.

Company positions offering as a gap-filler in a stagnant training market

Ballard argues that leadership training programs broadly have failed to keep pace with the speed of change introduced by AI tools into daily business operations. Soar Higher Coaching is marketing the program as differentiated from existing online leadership courses by its basis in field-tested command experience rather than theoretical frameworks.
