Vector Science Hires Ex-Outcome Capital Banker to Lead M&A Push

Toronto – October 19, 2026 -- Vector Science and Therapeutics Corp. (TSXV: PAIN) has appointed Angus Jackson, a former investment banker at Outcome Capital, as Managing Director of Corporate Development. He will lead the company's inorganic growth initiatives, including acquisitions, investments and strategic partnerships.

Jackson takes charge of inorganic growth and supports organic expansion

Jackson will lead inorganic growth and assist with organic growth. His remit covers commercial expansion, strategic alliances, business development and selective mergers and acquisitions. He will also work with company leadership to assess opportunities that complement Vector's therapeutic delivery technologies, medical devices and peptide-related offerings.

Boston banking and contract manufacturing experience underpin the hire

Jackson most recently advised companies on M&A, capital raising and strategic transactions at Outcome Capital, a Boston-based boutique investment bank focused on healthcare and life sciences. His clients spanned pharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical services, medical technology and healthcare services.

Earlier, he held corporate development and operating roles at a family-owned contract manufacturer serving the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries, where he worked on strategic initiatives and acquisitions. He holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law and an LL.M. from Duke University School of Law, focused on law and entrepreneurship.

Chairman Thompson and President Starr frame the appointment around scaling

Chairman Tommy Thompson, a former U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, said "disciplined corporate development" is essential to turning Vector's technology platforms into lasting commercial value.

President Russell Starr said Jackson's mix of transaction and pharmaceutical manufacturing experience fits the company as it scales. Starr said Vector is evaluating partnerships and acquisitions that complement its delivery technologies and peptide platform.

Vector flags deal-sourcing, financing and approval risks

The company said its growth plans carry risks. It may not identify suitable partnerships, investments or acquisitions, and any deals may not close on acceptable terms or at all. Required financing, regulatory approvals or TSX Venture Exchange approvals may not be obtained, and anticipated benefits of any transaction may not materialize.
