MIAMI BEACH – October 29, 2026 -- USA Sports Medicine has appointed Michael Holland, a healthcare finance executive with almost 30 years of experience, as President and Chief Financial Officer to steer capital strategy for its 25-location Florida network.
Holland will work alongside founder and CEO Dr. Matthew Cooper and VP Kevin Mills. His remit covers financial strategy, infrastructure, strategic partnerships and entry into new markets.
Palm Beach County adds five clinics in 2026
The Miami-based operator opened five locations in Palm Beach County this year. Holland said the sites are already exceptionally busy. The company also runs clinics inside private clubs, luxury residential communities and fitness destinations across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
Cooper described the mandate as ensuring the business behind the brand is built to grow for decades.
Holland brings private equity, investment banking and legal background
Holland's career spans private equity-backed portfolio companies, healthcare investment banking and the practice of law. As Chief Development Officer of US Anesthesia Partners, he led growth that helped create the largest single-specialty physician practice in the US. He also held a leadership role at Panoramic Health, a platform supporting nephrology practices' transition to value-based care.
Across these roles he guided healthcare organizations through rapid expansion, acquisitions and capital raising. He holds degrees from Harvard University and Columbia Law School.
Service mix spans physical therapy to regenerative medicine
USA Sports Medicine offers physical therapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture and regenerative medicine under one roof. The company says this breadth serves patients whose needs exceed what single-specialty practices provide. With Holland overseeing financial strategy, it plans to keep adding locations and services throughout Florida.
