San Jose – October 13, 2026 -- UfiSpace is demonstrating a live 102.4Tbps liquid-cooled switch with 64 x 1.6T OSFP ports at OCP Global Summit 2026, aiming to prove thermal feasibility for 1.6T AI fabrics as data centers move toward extreme power densities.
Liquid-cooled Tomahawk 6 platform runs with a cooling distribution unit
The S9331-64HO3L is a 2OU ORv3 platform built on the Broadcom Tomahawk 6 ASIC. It operates with a Cooling Distribution Unit (CDU) to deliver real-time cooling. UfiSpace describes it as a validation-ready, early-access architecture and a proof-of-concept for the thermal and mechanical designs needed for 2027/2028 AI clusters.
For operators not yet moving to liquid cooling, UfiSpace is also showing the S9331-64HO, a 3RU air-cooled 102.4Tbps platform. It targets hyperscalers with highly optimized air-cooled infrastructure and is meant to scale bandwidth in targeted zones. The company says the open, disaggregated design lets operators raise bandwidth density, optimize total cost of ownership and build a common operational blueprint for later liquid-cooled rollouts.
Qumran-based routers add up to 32GB of deep buffering for cross-site AI traffic
For lossless packet delivery across distributed AI data centers (Scale-Across/DCI), UfiSpace is highlighting two Broadcom Qumran-powered routers:
- S9630-32HO (Qumran 4D): 3RU, 51.2Tbps switching capacity, 32GB of embedded deep packet buffering and 32 x 1.6T OSFP ports. It is designed to eliminate buffer bloat and packet drops in long-distance AI cluster communications.
- S9620-32E (Qumran 3D): 2RU, 25.6Tbps deep-buffered platform with 32 x 800G QSFP-DD interfaces and OpenZR+ coherent optics support for edge and spine routing in multi-site AI infrastructures.
800G Tomahawk Ultra switch targets AI backend fabrics
The S9322-64EO packs 64 x 800G OSFP ports and runs on the Broadcom Tomahawk Ultra ASIC. UfiSpace positions it for AI backend fabric interconnects, citing ultra-low latency and streamlined deployment of high-radix GPU clusters.
GeNopsys partnership pairs 64 x 800G Ethernet switch with all-optical switching
UfiSpace and GeNopsys Technologies are integrating the S9321-64E, an 800G Tomahawk 5 Ethernet switch with 64 x 800G QSFP-DD ports, with GeNopsys' dynamic optical circuit switching (OCS) technology. UfiSpace's hardware-driven lossless engine uses SmartBuffer and Dynamic Load Balancing for Ethernet interoperability and zero-packet-drop performance. GeNopsys' all-optical switching eliminates O-E-O conversion, which the companies say shortens AI training time and lowers total data center energy consumption.
GeNopsys Founder and CEO Maria Yuang said the collaboration combines Ethernet flexibility with optical switching to accelerate AI training and cut data center energy use.
UfiSpace CEO Vincent Ho said 1.6T networking requires alignment across silicon, optics, thermal management and NOS partners, and that validating liquid cooling now lets customers design future AI data centers with confidence.
The TH6 Liquid Cooling Live Demo and the wider portfolio are at Booth D19, Expo Hall 3, during OCP Global Summit, October 12-15, 2026, in San Jose, California.
