DALLAS – November 02, 2026 -- Topgolf and TMRW Sports have signed a multi-year partnership that brings TGL presented by SoFi and WTGL competition formats to Topgolf venues and Toptracer Range facilities worldwide, tying the leagues to a network of more than 100 Topgolf venues and over 1,450 Toptracer sites.

Topgolf puts league competition holes in venues for the first time

Guests will be able to play the custom-designed competition holes that define the TGL and WTGL seasons, a first for Topgolf. The partnership also covers match-night watch parties at select venues, with league talent features, gameplay discounts and dedicated programming.

Topgolf is opening with the Topgolf WTGL Challenge, which runs through the first WTGL season. Fans who complete the WTGL match-play holes enter a sweepstakes running 11/8 to 12/23. Three randomly selected winners each receive a $500 gift card for official WTGL merchandise.

Promotions run across 28,000-plus Topgolf digital screens

The deal extends into Topgolf Media Networks, the company's recently launched sponsorship, media and licensing division. It will carry a national campaign across email, social content and in-venue marketing on more than 28,000 digital screens nationwide.

Fan prizes include greenside tickets, VIP Clubhouse access, suite nights and behind-the-scenes passes at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Promotions will run across Topgolf's national channels and the TGL competition hole catalog.

Toptracer technology already supports league broadcasts

Topgolf supports the TGL and WTGL broadcasts through ball-tracking technology from Toptracer. Toptracer reports 45 million hours played in 2025 across more than 1,450 sites in 38 countries.

Topgolf and Toptracer CEO David McKillips said the partnership will "turn casual viewers into active participants." Rufus Hack, president of golf at TMRW Sports, said fans will be able to play the same holes as the pros.

WTGL launches Nov. 8 with five teams as TGL adds a seventh

WTGL, created with the LPGA, launches Sunday, Nov. 8, with five teams: Atlanta Drive GC, Boston Common Golf, Los Angeles Golf Club, Motor City Golf Club and New York Golf Club. TGL, created with the PGA Tour, has seven teams, including Motor City Golf Club, which debuts this season. TMRW Sports co-founders Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy are among the TGL players.

The agreement adds to the organizations helping Topgolf pursue its goal of 10 million new, committed golfers by 2030. Existing partners include First Tee, Youth on Course and Special Olympics.
