The Albany County Sheriff's Office has implemented UR Codes on active-duty Deputy ID cards, enabling instant cross-jurisdictional verification by partner agencies or citizens. The credential binds each deputy's biometric face vector to their ID, preventing lost or stolen cards from being used by unauthorized holders and blocking fake ID creation.
