Diagnexia Signs Sectra Deal for Up to 100,000 NHS Pathology Cases

Linköping – October 12, 2026 -- UK digital pathology provider Diagnexia has signed an annual, renewable agreement with Sectra (STO: SECT B) covering up to 100,000 cases in the first year, enabling it to receive, send and report pathology cases digitally for NHS organisations.

The contract was signed in the second quarter of Sectra's 2026/2027 fiscal year. It uses Sectra's service for advanced share and collaborate workflows to connect Diagnexia with NHS bodies that need external specialist support.

Diagnexia reporting capacity becomes available through existing Sectra connections

Hospitals already connected to the Sectra Image Exchange Portal (Sectra IEP) can reach Diagnexia's reporting capacity through the same connection and workflows. Jane Rendall, Managing Director for Sectra UK and Ireland, said this requires no new integration, no separate supplier onboarding and no additional infrastructure.

Baptist Health Care, PAM Health Revise JV to Add 100 Beds

Pensacola, Fla. – October 01, 2026 -- Baptist Health Care and PAM Health have restructured their joint venture, adding 40 acute care beds at Baptist Hospital and building a freestanding 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital at Baptist Medical Park – Nine Mile, pushing Baptist Hospital's total bed count from 279 to 319.

Revised plan scraps original 40-bed rehab unit for larger freestanding facility

The updated agreement replaces a plan first announced in early 2025, which called for a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital housed within the Henderson Health Center on the Baptist Hospital campus. Under the new structure, PAM Health and Baptist Health Care will instead construct a standalone 60-bed rehabilitation hospital at the Nine Mile campus, freeing the Henderson Health Center space for conversion into a 40-bed acute care unit.
