Eve Applies for EASA Validation as ANAC Opens Eve 100 Consultation

FARNBOROUGH – – October 31, 2026 -- Eve Air Mobility has applied to the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to start Type Certificate validation for its Eve 100 eVTOL aircraft, adding a third aviation authority to the program. On the same day, Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) opened a sectoral consultation on updated airworthiness criteria for the aircraft.

ANAC accepts industry comments on revised Eve 100 criteria until August 18

The updated criteria follow ANAC's first airworthiness criteria for the Eve 100, published in November 2024. The revisions aim to harmonize further with international certification approaches, including FAA guidance for powered-lift aircraft. After the consultation closes on August 18, ANAC will review the comments and assess possible refinements.

Eve Air Mobility Brings 2,700 eVTOL Pre-Orders to Farnborough

MELBOURNE, Fla. – October 31, 2026 -- Eve Air Mobility (NYSE: EVEX; B3: EVEB31) arrives at the 2026 Farnborough International Airshow with about 2,700 eVTOL pre-orders and an engineering prototype that has completed dozens of test flights since its first flight in December 2025.

Eve prepares transition flight evaluation this quarter

Hover and low-speed testing are complete, and the 2026 program is on schedule, according to the company. Partial transition flights are planned for this summer, with full transitions later in the year. Eve says these steps validate lift, cruise efficiency and system performance while reducing certification risk.

Production of six conforming prototypes is set to begin later this year.

Brazil's ANAC Opens Noise Certification Consultation for Eve 100

Farnborough – October 31, 2026 -- Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) has published proposed noise certification criteria for Eve Air Mobility's Eve 100 eVTOL aircraft, with public consultation open until August 8. Eve (NYSE: EVEX) calls the publication a key milestone toward type certification and toward an environmental certification framework for eVTOLs.

ANAC adapts existing aviation noise rules to the Eve 100

The criteria follow extensive engagement between Eve and ANAC. They draw on existing aviation noise regulations and adapt them to the Eve 100 and its planned operations. They are meant to evaluate the aircraft's acoustic characteristics across all phases of flight, giving regulators an environmental profile before commercial operations begin.
