Oslo – October 11, 2026 -- TGS has secured a one-month extension to the largest seismic streamer acquisition contract offshore Indonesia, with the extension scheduled to start in August.
Extension keeps Ramform Sovereign working under the Indonesian contract
The extension covers the Ramform Sovereign vessel, which acquires data using TGS's GeoStreamer technology. TGS did not disclose the contract value, the client's identity, the survey area or the vessel's remaining backlog.
TGS CEO says extension improves revenue visibility
CEO Kristian Johansen said the extension reflects the client's continued confidence in the Ramform Sovereign and GeoStreamer. He added that the project strengthens revenue visibility while TGS delivers high-quality seismic data with industry-leading acquisition efficiency.
The extension is short, at one month. Its financial impact is therefore likely to be limited, and TGS has not published figures.
