Oct. 20 webinar covered Local Seller Program, logistics and regulation
The two parties held "The Path to Growth: Navigating E-commerce for European SMEs" on Oct. 20, with participants from local businesses across various industries. Sessions covered Temu's Local Seller Program, logistics and regulatory requirements, followed by a Q&A with Temu representatives.
Aiga Irmeja, Chair of the Board at the Latvian IT Cluster, said the partnership has already produced joint activities on European e-commerce and called it "just the first step" toward further initiatives.
Temu targets complexity and connection barriers in SME growth
The practical, dialogue-based format responds to two growth barriers, complexity and connection, identified in Temu's recent Small Business Insights Report. The report drew on meetings and discussions with more than 100 European trade organizations. A Temu spokesperson said the cooperation brings the company closer to local entrepreneurs and helps it understand their needs.
