TecumsehPower, Snow King Return to North America in Q4 2026

Olive Branch – October 13, 2026 -- TecumsehPower and Snow King, two heritage outdoor power equipment brands, will return to the North American market in Q4 2026 under an exclusive agreement with AiPower Corp., with commercial availability planned for the 2026–2027 snow season.

AiPower secures exclusive rights to three legacy brands

The agreement covers the TecumsehPower, Snow King and Lauson brands, spanning both engines and complete gas-powered outdoor power equipment. Retailers, distributors and OEM partners will again be able to source the products.

Snow King-branded snow blowers equipped with TecumsehPower engines will be the flagship offering. Product development is underway.

Lineup to expand beyond snow removal into chore and utility tools

The initial focus is snow removal, but the range will grow to include additional chore and utility tools. TecumsehPower engines will also be offered to OEM partners, opening an engine-supply channel alongside finished equipment.

AiPower targets the snow, lawn and garden categories, where it says the legacy names carry consumer recognition and credibility with retailers and distributors.

Brand history dates to 1895 and a snow blower stronghold

TecumsehPower began as the John Lauson Tractor Company, which produced its first engines in 1895. The company later became known for 2- and 4-cycle engines sold under the Lauson Power Products and TecumsehPower names. At its peak, its engines powered the majority of snow blowers in North America, with a reputation for cold-weather starting across major equipment brands.

Certified Parts partnership to drive channel reach

TecumsehPower is currently part of Certified Parts Corporation in Janesville, Wisconsin. James Grafft, owner of Certified Parts, said the partnership will build the brands' presence through the company's customers, distributors and servicing dealers.

David Wei, President of AiPower Corp, North America, said the relaunch will blend the brands' legacy with modern engineering and manufacturing.
