AMCP: ESR1 Testing Gaps Create Payer Friction in Breast Cancer Care

Washington – October 17, 2026 -- Nearly half of patients with hormone receptor positive, HER2 negative advanced breast cancer develop resistance to first-line endocrine therapy driven by the ESR1 mutation (ESR1m), according to a new Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) Market Insights Program report. The report finds that biomarker testing and treatment paradigms are evolving faster than the evidence payers need to manage them.

Testing uncertainty drives inconsistent practice and coverage friction

Patients with ESR1m stay on ineffective treatment until radiologic progression is detected. Monitoring for the mutation with circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) liquid biopsy before progression can enable an early switch to effective therapy and extend time on first-line treatment.

Green Data Center Market to Hit $90.4B by 2035 on AI Density

London – October 17, 2026 -- The global green data center market will grow from USD 26.71 billion in 2025 to USD 90.38 billion by 2035, a CAGR of 12.96%, according to a new DC Market Insights report. AI-driven rack density is raising the value of efficient power and cooling per MW, while water constraints, grid pressure and energy costs push operators toward liquid cooling, heat reuse, renewable power and facility retrofits.

AI halls carried USD 3.09 million of green content per MW in 2025

Green power and cooling content in AI halls reached approximately USD 3.09 million per MW in 2025. The report says this materially raises green infrastructure value per unit of IT capacity. The market stood at USD 7.25 billion in 2020.

ADHD Drugs Market to Hit $22.79B by 2035 as Adult Diagnosis Grows

London – October 16, 2026 -- The global ADHD drugs market will grow from USD 14.11 billion in 2025 to USD 22.79 billion by 2035, a compound annual growth rate of 4.91%, according to Credence Research Inc. The figures are the research firm's proprietary estimates, not audited sales totals.

North America holds 60% of value while Asia Pacific grows fastest at 6.34%

North America accounted for 60.0% of 2025 market value. Europe followed with 20.0%, Asia Pacific with 13.0%, Latin America with 4.0% and the Middle East and Africa with 3.0%.

Credence attributes Asia Pacific's 6.34% annual growth to better recognition and access in Japan, Australia and, increasingly, China, from a comparatively small revenue base. In Europe, reimbursement systems and lower net medicine prices restrain value per patient.

Mews Survey: 63% of Travelers Back AI Rate Tracking, 41% Personalization

Mews Survey: 63% of Travelers Back AI Rate Tracking, 41% Personalization

New York – October 16, 2026 -- Travelers will let AI monitor hotel rates (63%) and translate in real time (56%), but only 44% want it planning itineraries and 41% want it personalizing their room, according to a Mews survey of 3,250 travelers.

The dividing line is whether a task is a chore or a choice. Price alerts and translation require accuracy and speed rather than personal knowledge of the guest. Itineraries and room setup are personal, and 57% of respondents would rather stay in control of their trip than hand decisions to an AI acting on their behalf.

Guests accept AI on shared data but resist inferred data

Travelers are more comfortable with AI using information they knowingly gave a hotel: 61% accept stated preferences and 56% accept past stay history. Acceptance falls for data collected about them, to 43% for online behavior and 34% for external and social data.

Cancer Diagnostics Market to Reach $41.5B by 2031 on AI, Genomics

Cancer Diagnostics Market to Reach $41.5B by 2031 on AI, Genomics

Sheridan – October 16, 2026 -- The global cancer diagnostics market is valued at USD 29.3 billion in 2026 and is projected to reach USD 41.5 billion by 2031, a CAGR of 7.2%, according to a new study by Wissen Research.

Demand starts with patient volume. The International Agency for Research on Cancer counted about 20 million new cancer cases and 9.7 million cancer deaths worldwide in 2022, and expects annual new cases to pass 35 million by 2050. Each patient may need screening, diagnosis, staging, molecular characterization and follow-up.

Data Center Precision Cooling Market to Hit USD 10 Billion by 2035

London – October 16, 2026 -- The global data center precision air conditioning market will grow from USD 4.88 billion in 2025 to USD 10.00 billion by 2035, a 7.43% CAGR, according to a new DC Market Insights report. Rising AI rack density is shifting spending toward fan walls, in-row coolers, rear-door heat exchangers and retrofit services.

New-build capacity of 12.0 GW a year supports USD 2.75 billion in equipment spending

New data center capacity of about 12.0 GW a year supports roughly USD 2.75 billion of new-build precision air-conditioning spending, the report states. The analysis covers four product types: perimeter CRAC and CRAH units, in-row and rack-based coolers, fan walls and thermal walls, and rear-door heat exchangers.

AI capacity additions are modeled to rise more than fourfold

The report models annual AI capacity additions rising from 4.2 GW to 17.8 GW, expanding the installed base of memory-intensive accelerator servers. AI servers are adding more host memory per node. Accelerator-rich systems raise the value of capacity, bandwidth and memory-channel count.

57% of US Small Business Owners Depend on Firm to Fund Next Life Stage

West Palm Beach – October 16, 2026 -- Fifty-seven percent of U.S. small business owners say they are very or completely reliant on their business to reach their next stage of life, yet only 15% hold a formal, written exit plan, according to a Researchscape International survey commissioned by Exit Factor.

Sixty-four percent of respondents report that at least half of their personal net worth is tied up in the business. The survey covered 1,104 owners and was fielded between August 24 and October 16, 2026. Respondents were sole owners/founders or co-owners with significant decision-making authority at companies with 1-99 employees. Responses were not weighted.

Confidence in exit readiness outstrips concrete preparation among owners

Fifty-two percent say they are very or completely confident they could exit successfully if they started the process tomorrow. One-third (33%) have taken no steps toward exit planning.

CGI: 75% of Banks Explore Agentic AI as APIs Become Front Door

CGI: 75% of Banks Explore Agentic AI as APIs Become Front Door

Europe – October 15, 2026 -- 75% of banks are exploring agentic AI, yet 39% remain in the proof-of-concept phase, according to CGI's latest Voice of Our Clients research. CGI argues that lenders must now prepare for customers who delegate product selection to AI agents.

APIs replace the app as the bank's front door

CGI says AI agents will compare, calculate and negotiate based on structured product information, reliable APIs, transparent pricing and lending criteria that software can interpret, rather than on app design. An agent could assess a bank's offering in milliseconds, reject its API and move on to a competitor. CGI frames API quality as a business capability and a source of competitive advantage, not only an IT metric.

The survey covers 3,221 senior executives, including C-level, at organizations with 1,000 or more employees in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Censuswide conducted the research for IBM between 14 and 24 September 2026. Incidents in scope included agent failures, data exposure, AI-driven decision errors and AI security breaches.

56% of executives keep deploying AI while governance catches up

When deployment speed outpaces governance and compliance readiness, 56% of respondents proceed within agreed risk limits while governance adapts. One third delay deployment until governance is ready.
