Arusha – September 20, 2026 -- Tanzanian tourism operator Ernest Magesa has commercially commissioned SafariOS, a conversational AI concierge built on technology from Brand Engagement Network Inc. (Nasdaq: BNAI), through its African venture Skye Africa Intelligence (Pty) Ltd.
Hotel guest assistance marks the first commercial deployment
The initial release handles property information, housekeeping and room-service requests, dining and transport guidance, and escalation to a human agent when needed. Skye plans to extend the same conversational layer to restaurants, excursion providers, safari operators and onward travel bookings as more businesses join the platform.
Tanzania's existing visitor flow anchors the commercial case
Tanzania already draws millions of international visitors annually and sits near Arusha, Ngorongoro and the Serengeti. AFCON PAMOJA 2027, co-hosted by Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda from June 19 to July 17, 2027, is expected to add a temporary spike in demand, but the underlying business model targets year-round hospitality traffic rather than tournament-driven volume alone. SafariOS is an independent commercial project and is not affiliated with the Confederation of African Football or the AFCON PAMOJA 2027 tournament.
BEN holds a minority stake without consolidating Skye's results
BEN's subsidiary, Skye AI USA, LLC, holds a minority equity interest in Skye Africa Intelligence, while Valio Technologies retains majority ownership. BEN does not consolidate Skye's financials and supplies the underlying conversational AI technology while Skye manages the build and local market execution.
Executives frame the deployment as a market-entry strategy
"Start with the hotel. Earn the rest of the journey," said Lefentse Nokaneng, Chief Executive Officer of Skye Africa Intelligence, describing the approach as how a small team enters a market that larger platforms have yet to capture. Magesa said the service must function reliably both during the AFCON tournament in June 2027 and in the quieter months that follow. Tyler Luck, Chief Executive Officer of Brand Engagement Network, said BEN supplies the technology while Skye runs day-to-day operations in the market.
