Chicago – September 13, 2026 -- The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) is deploying 56 Taiwanese manufacturers to IMTS 2026, opening September 14 at McCormick Place under the Taiwan Flagship Showcase banner.

Taiwan concentrates 56 manufacturers at a single North Building booth

The showcase occupies Booth #236834 in the North Building, giving international buyers direct access to engineers and executives from Taiwan's machine tool and precision component sector for the duration of the show.

Exhibited technology targets aerospace, semiconductor and automation supply chains

Featured product categories include high-precision multi-axis machining systems for aerospace applications, CNC controllers, robotics and machine vision for automated production, and zero-point positioning and workholding systems designed to cut setup time. The lineup also covers high-performance spindles and motion-control components used in semiconductor equipment, plus energy-saving factory solutions aimed at low-carbon production and ESG compliance.

Taiwanese suppliers already serve SpaceX, Micron, NXP and Siemens

TAITRA cited existing supply relationships between Taiwanese manufacturers and SpaceX, Micron, NXP and Siemens, spanning aerospace components and precision control and motion systems for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

TAITRA schedules matchmaking, seminars and a Taiwan Night networking event

Programming during IMTS week includes an opening ceremony for the showcase, guided brand tours, international buyer matchmaking, industry-focused seminars and an exclusive Taiwan Night event connecting Taiwanese manufacturers with buyers, distributors and technology partners in Chicago.

Initiative is commissioned by Taiwan's International Trade Administration

The Taiwan Flagship Showcase is commissioned by the International Trade Administration (TITA) and executed by TAITRA under the "Team Taiwan" concept, which integrates capabilities across machine tools, industrial machinery, automotive parts, fasteners, hand tools, plumbing hardware and electronic components at major international trade shows.
