SupplyOne Moves Meal Maker to Compostable MAP Trays

United States – October 28, 2026 -- SupplyOne has replaced polypropylene trays with biodegradable/compostable MAP trays for a fast-growing fresh prepared meal company, as part of a packaging program built to support the customer's expansion.

The customer sells fresh, never-frozen meals to consumers with a range of dietary preferences. As volumes grew, it needed a packaging partner that could cover daily supply and new product initiatives without disrupting operations.

SupplyOne supplies a broad packaging range across the meal line

The program covers boxes, labels, tamper-evident containers, portion cups, trays, lidding film, void-fill paper, gel packs and cold-chain solutions, plus other essential packaging materials.

Compostable MAP trays replace polypropylene to match brand positioning

SupplyOne worked with the customer to move its meal packaging from traditional polypropylene trays to biodegradable/compostable MAP trays. The change aligns the package with the company's sustainability goals and premium brand positioning.

SupplyOne adds production equipment as output rises

As production requirements expanded, SupplyOne also supplied MAP tray sealers, chicken dicers, label applicators and fillers, along with additional equipment for meal production and packaging.

The customer completed the shift to more sustainable packaging while keeping the supply and production support needed to scale its meal business. The source does not disclose financial terms, volumes or the customer's name.
