Portage, Mich. – September 18, 2026 -- Stryker will launch Prophecy Surgical Planning for its Incompass Total Ankle System and unveil Hoffmann LRF smartHEX at the 2026 American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS) Annual Meeting in Seattle, expanding its Foot & Ankle portfolio with two connected technologies.
Prophecy Surgical Planning has processed more than 100,000 ankle cases over 14 years
Stryker's Prophecy platform, used in patient-specific surgical planning, has supported over 100,000 ankle procedures since its introduction 14 years ago, according to internal company data. The tool is now integrated with the Incompass Total Ankle System, giving surgeons 3D visualization and a choice between resect-through and pin-through fixation within a single connected platform.
Incompass implant design was built using Prophecy and SOMA anatomical data
Stryker developed the Incompass Total Ankle System using insights from Prophecy and its SOMA (Stryker Orthopaedic Modeling and Analytics) database, incorporating real-world anatomical data directly into implant design. Adam Jacobs, vice president and general manager of Stryker's Foot & Ankle business, said the integration links patient-specific planning with the company's newest total ankle system to support preoperative decision-making.
Hoffmann LRF smartHEX adds new rings, struts and a mobile app for limb reconstruction
Stryker is introducing Hoffmann LRF smartHEX as the latest addition to its limb reconstruction portfolio. The platform includes expanded frame components -- rings, struts and related hardware -- along with a mobile application and redesigned planning software intended to increase frame versatility for complex deformity correction. The mobile app connects patients to surgeon-prescribed correction plans, linking patient guidance, surgical planning and correction tracking throughout treatment.
