BOSTON -- September 01, 2026 -- Stockpress, a Boston-based digital asset management platform, launched Content Portals on Aug. 31, 2026, a feature that converts files stored inside its DAM into branded, shareable web destinations. The tool lets marketing and brand teams pull assets from across their workspace into a single curated page for sales staff, partners, customers or press, rather than sending links to folders of raw files. Every Stockpress plan now includes one Content Portal, and customers on the Premium plan can build an unlimited number for different teams and audiences.
Internal research finds 53% of teams struggle to collaborate with outside partners
Stockpress's own research found that 53% of teams say collaborating on files with clients, agencies and partners ranks among their biggest challenges. The same research found that 67% of respondents report people working outside the DAM system their company chose, often because pulling content another way proved simpler.
Portals pull live from files and Smart Collections instead of static links
Content Portals draw directly from files and Collections already inside Stockpress, so a page reflects whatever is currently stored — including a newly uploaded File Version or a Smart Collection filtered by rules a team sets in advance. Stockpress said this removes the need for manual rebuilds when a brand guide, campaign hub or resource center changes. The DAM itself remains the single storage and management layer, while the portal becomes the external-facing destination that exposes only the content a specific audience is meant to see.
Customers use portals for brand guides, sales hubs and partner centers
Stockpress reported customers building living brand guidelines that display current logos, colors, fonts, photography and usage guidance; sales enablement hubs holding current presentations, product imagery, videos and case studies; and partner resource centers where retail or agency contacts see a curated slice of approved content without navigating the wider DAM. Other customers assembled campaign hubs combining messaging, creative and video files, and always-current media centers carrying approved logos, executive headshots, press releases and product imagery.
CEO says the feature adds control over the shared experience itself
"We've always given customers ways to share the files and Collections they manage in Stockpress. Content Portals give them something different — control over the experience itself," said Jessica Storry, CEO and co-founder of Stockpress.
Stockpress described the launch as part of a broader shift in digital asset management, moving beyond storing and organizing content toward making that content easier for outside audiences to use directly.
