Spinnaker Support Names Mark Fetches Global CTO in Reorganization

Denver – October 14, 2026 -- Spinnaker Support, the third-party software support provider with more than 1,300 global clients, has promoted Mark Fetches to Global Chief Technology Officer and consolidated its regional CTOs, solution consulting and technical account management under him in a single global organization.

Fetches reports to CRO Pete Castello and joins the go-to-market leadership team

Fetches will report to Chief Revenue Officer Pete Castello and sit on Spinnaker's Go-to-Market Leadership Team. The company says the placement tightens the link between customer business priorities and its technical sales and advisory work.

Solution consultants for Oracle, SAP, VMware and PostgreSQL now work alongside post-sale technical teams

The new structure joins the technical guidance customers receive during evaluation with the expertise they rely on after signing. Solution consultants who assess Oracle, SAP, VMware or PostgreSQL environments will now work with the technical account managers and regional technology leaders who guide customers once an engagement begins.

Three leaders join Fetches' organization:

  • Iain Saunderson, CTO for the Americas, reports to Fetches.
  • Phil Wilkins, technical account manager and enterprise technical architect, joins the organization.
  • Sree Sakamuri, director of solution consulting, joins the organization.
Fetches brings 30-plus years at Accenture, Deloitte and PwC from his EMEA CTO role

Fetches previously served as Spinnaker's CTO for EMEA. He has more than 30 years of technology consulting and leadership experience at Accenture, Deloitte and PwC, where he led customer-facing technical teams and advised C-suite executives and boards on digital, cloud, AI and enterprise transformation programs. He is based in the UK and holds TOGAF and ITIL certifications.

CEO Matt Stava said Fetches showed in EMEA how much customers value close technical engagement from the start, and that the company can now offer the same guidance in every region. Fetches said modernization is best discussed before an upgrade or renewal forces the issue, when customers have the most freedom to evaluate options.

Promotion follows double-digit growth and a run of 2026 leadership changes

Spinnaker reports double-digit growth as more enterprises turn to independent support for greater control and flexibility. The appointment follows several 2026 leadership moves:

  • Rex Young became chief information officer in August.
  • Vivek Pruthi was named managing director for APAC.
  • Martin Biggs was promoted to vice president and general manager of the PostgreSQL practice.

The Biggs promotion coincided with the September launch of new PostgreSQL offerings designed to help enterprises reduce dependency on Oracle databases.
