Sol Hires A+E Veteran Dan Silberman to Lead Marketing and Comms

NEW YORK – October 29, 2026 -- Sol, a vendor-neutral AI-enabled business and IT transformation firm, has appointed Dan Silberman, who spent twenty years at A+E Global Media, as Head of Marketing & Communications. He reports to Managing Partner Kaan Aslansan and is based in New York.

Silberman takes end-to-end ownership of Sol's brand and pipeline-linked marketing

Silberman's remit covers positioning and narrative, earned media, content and thought leadership, digital presence, internal communications and reputation management. Sol ties the work directly to pipeline and growth.

Aslansan framed the hire as a shift from delivery to visibility: the firm has built its business on delivery and is now investing in making sure the market knows it. He said Silberman will make sure the market sees "what our clients already do."

Sol adds the role during its fastest expansion, with two new practices

Sol has built a dedicated AI Acceleration practice under Steve Miller, formerly Chief Digital Officer at Xerox. Former Xerox CEO Steven Bandrowczak serves as senior advisor. The practice takes clients from diagnosis to live agentic AI systems.

The firm also recently launched its first industry-aligned practice, Media, Entertainment and AdTech, under newly appointed practice lead Ashley J. Swartz. Sol's core focus spans that sector as well as state and local government and education (SLED). Its services run from AI strategy to live implementation, including agentic AI systems, workflow modernization and workforce transformation.

Silberman said Sol is competing with firms several times its size and winning.

Silberman brings crisis and rebrand experience from A+E and NBCUniversal

At A+E Global Media, most recently as Executive Vice President of Communications, Silberman led media relations, corporate and internal communications, crisis management, social strategy and talent relations. His portfolio covered The HISTORY Channel, A&E Network, A+E Factual Studios and the Oscar-winning feature division A&E IndieFilms. Those brands reach more than 400 million households across 200 territories.

Earlier, at NBCUniversal, he led press and publicity for Bravo Media. There he oversaw a full rebrand away from the network's performing-arts roots and the launches of Queer Eye and Project Runway. He began his career at Rubenstein Communications and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics & Law from Binghamton University.

His honors include The Hollywood Reporter's Next Gen list, Multichannel News' 40 Under 40 and the CableFAX Award for PR Executive of the Year. He also serves on the Board of Directors of LMC Media, the largest tri-state area community media center outside of New York City.
