Eschenburg – October 29, 2026 -- Software Partners Group (SPG) has rebranded as Emerion, a platform that combines companies with more than 330 employees and roughly 10,000 customers across the DACH region's mid-market.
Emerion bundles four software and services disciplines under one brand
The group covers ERP, ECM, HCM & Payroll and Managed IT, with AI as a cross-cutting technology. It operates from 22 locations and is headquartered in Eschenburg. Its stated aim is to become a leading platform for business-critical software, services and AI among DACH mid-sized companies.
The name draws on the concept of emergence: combining entrepreneurial strength, specialist expertise and technology to create more than the sum of the individual parts.
CEO Edgar Ertel pitches a single partner instead of another vendor
Ertel says mid-sized firms need a partner that understands their processes and brings key building blocks together, not an additional supplier. He describes Emerion as a platform rather than a portfolio of companies.
Existing customers keep contacts, contracts and systems unchanged
The rebranding changes nothing for current clients, and each local company continues to provide personal support. Customers gain access to the wider platform's capabilities. An ERP customer, for example, can add document management, payroll or AI-supported automation.
Technology partners and staff gain cross-company access
Technology partners get access to a growing platform with broad presence in the DACH mid-market and a shared base for developing new solutions. Employees gain career prospects across company and competence boundaries.
