Signature Performance, RHE Team Up on Rural Hospital Revenue Cycle

OMAHA – October 21, 2026 -- Signature Performance will begin revenue cycle support for four rural Washington state hospitals under a new partnership with Rural Health Enterprise (RHE), with potential to extend across RHE's broader network.

Signature Performance targets revenue capture and workflow efficiency at four hospitals

The Omaha-based company will deploy revenue cycle expertise, technology-enabled solutions and operational capabilities for RHE member hospitals. The stated goals are stronger revenue capture, streamlined workflows, reduced administrative complexity and improved financial performance. The initial phase is expected to cover four hospitals. Financial terms were not disclosed.

RHE seeks specialized expertise for independent rural hospitals

RHE is a limited liability partnership owned by rural hospitals and serves rural health providers across Washington State. It runs administrative, financial and operational programs designed to give independent rural health systems the advantages of a large system while preserving local control.

RHE CEO Leslie Hiebert said financial sustainability is critical to member hospitals' mission, and that the partnership gives them access to specialized expertise and resources to strengthen operations.

Signature Performance eyes a model that reaches beyond Washington state

Chris Vairo, Provider Chief Business Development Officer at Signature Performance, said the companies aim to build a sustainable model that can benefit rural healthcare organizations "well beyond Washington state." Signature Performance says it has supported more than 250 hospitals.

Matt Leshy, the company's Provider Practice Leader, said the partnership is intended to improve revenue cycle performance and financial sustainability so rural hospitals can keep serving the communities that depend on them.
