ServiceMaster of Tacoma Buys Redmond Unit, Adds Eastside Base

Washington – October 20, 2026 -- ServiceMaster Restoration Alliance of Tacoma, an Elite ServiceMaster franchise serving six counties across Western Washington, has acquired ServiceMaster Total Cleaning Service of Redmond, giving it a second Puget Sound location. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Redmond operation becomes ServiceMaster Restore of Kirkland

The acquired business will operate as ServiceMaster Restore of Kirkland. It gives the Tacoma-based franchise a permanent Eastside base to serve residential and commercial customers across King County.

The site also serves as a forward position for service into Snohomish County and the north end of the Puget Sound corridor.

Acquisition adds technicians, equipment and faster emergency response

ServiceMaster Total Cleaning Service has served Eastside property owners for many years. According to the company, customers gain access to a larger pool of IICRC-certified technicians, additional equipment and resources, and faster response on emergency losses.

Jeff Hagerman, Head of Business Development at ServiceMaster Restoration Alliance of Tacoma, said certified crews staged on both sides of the Sound allow the company to reach more customers faster in the hours that determine the outcome of a loss.

Full service range and local hiring planned

The Redmond location will offer the company's full service range: water damage restoration, fire and smoke damage restoration, mold remediation, specialty cleaning, and disaster recovery for residential and commercial properties.

CEO Jeff Sorenson said the deal creates new career opportunities alongside geographic expansion, and the company is recruiting talent for the new location. The acquisition supports the company's long-term growth strategy by extending its service territory and adding operational capacity in markets it already serves.

The company says demand for professional restoration services continues to grow across Western Washington. With added personnel, equipment and operational support, it expects to respond more effectively to both individual emergencies and large-scale commercial losses.
