Stockholm – September 10, 2026 -- Autoliv, Inc. (NYSE: ALV) has onboarded Toyota as the first customer for its new Human Body Model (HBM) Safety Suite, a virtual crash-testing platform designed to accelerate vehicle safety development.
Toyota begins evaluating Autoliv's virtual crash simulation platform
Toyota has started using the HBM Safety Suite to assess its capabilities as part of its own virtual safety development activities, according to Autoliv. The platform combines an advanced Human Body Model -- a detailed digital representation of human anatomy -- with dedicated software for analysis, visualization, and decision-making during crash simulations.
