De Havilland Canada Joins DHC-515 Forward Fuselage and Wing Box

Farnborough – October 18, 2026 -- De Havilland Canada has completed the program's first 28.6-metre wing box for the DHC-515 aerial firefighter and joined the cockpit and hull of the first aircraft into a forward fuselage, according to a production update released today.
Mid-fuselage completed and now being integrated with forward section
The mid-fuselage of the first DHC-515 is finished and is being integrated with the forward fuselage. The company describes these steps as significant progress in assembling the first aircraft at its manufacturing facilities.
