GAC's August Overseas Exports Surge 177% YoY to 26,978 Units

Guangzhou – September 10, 2026 -- GAC's overseas exports of proprietary brands hit 26,978 units in August, up 177% year-on-year, as the Chinese automaker's cumulative exports from January to August reached 172,008 units, a 136% YoY increase. GAC's total exports to date have approached 600,000 units.
Africa emerges as GAC's fastest-growing market with 881% YoY retail sales surge
August retail sales in Africa soared 881% year-on-year, making it GAC's fastest-growing overseas market this month. GAC International signed a localized production agreement in Egypt with Jameel Motors and officially entered Ghana, introducing a model lineup that includes the S7, GS8, and AION V.
